The First Week of Camp

So, I’ve been in New Hampshire for about two weeks preparing for camp this summer.  Despite being there for so long, I’ve only gotten in about three hikes, including two up Mt. Piermont and one up the Old Bridle Path to Greenleaf Hut in Franconia Notch.

Today, however, is first day of camp!  So, beginning tomorrow, the consistent hiking begins!  This first week of camp includes many great day hikes for me and the campers: Mt. Cube, Beaver Brook Trail up Mt. Moosilauke, Cascade Brook Trail to Lonesome Lake, Mt. Pemigewasset, and more.  In just a few weeks the backpacking trips will begin!

Can’t wait to share the trails with campers, and friends old and new!

Happy hiking!

Just wanted to send a quick update, currently at a hotel computer in Westchester, NY prior to picking up campers.
